This piece of Cashmere Skies reminds me of the love of these hometown hills for me and every painted sky The Lord creates is a canvas for His mercy and grace. I hope you feel that communicated and released through the colors and texture of this piece. 

This painting is from the Northwest series done in mixed media, which were created as a type of ‘living prayer’ for the places around the valley I grew up in, as well as other Northwest destinations that have had special meaning and are close to my heart. Mountains have always fascinated me with the strength and beauty they represent and inspire me to create. I hope this series creates a connection for you with the peace and beauty of this part of the Northwest I call home. This particular watercolor of the hills I view from my home is the very first landscape in the Northwest Series that I painted The first piece employing this style of mixed media printmaking influenced pieces.
