This painting is from the Northwest series done in mixed media, which were created as a type of ‘living prayer’ for the places around the valley I grew up in, as well as other Northwest destinations that have had special meaning and are close to my heart. Mountains have always fascinated me with the strength and beauty they represent and inspire me to create. I hope this series creates a connection for you with the peace and beauty of this part of the Northwest I call home. This particular piece created with a view of Chiwawa Ridge from Tall Timber Ranch is a place where I met God in radical and personal ways that transformed my life and shaped who I am. I came to know the Creator of the universe here and learned to appreciate how He communicates through nature. I hope He speaks to you in a similar way through this picture.
