During winter days I had to create, more out of necessity than overflowing desire. And oftentimes the only way into the invitation to joy is in the doorway of gratitude. There are moments it is SO easy to thank Him-to thank people, family, anyone- you know those days I'm talking about? And then there are the other days. God knows about those too. I think my learning fascination is what happens to my heart when I choose to step through the thankful door when my perspective or feelings are still waiting outside. I honestly don't know how He does it, but it's very true! This series of thankful pieces kind of tumbled out one after another. I had thought bout a thankful series of pieces for awhile but when I began this winter, it was honestly a discipline, just to begin. I must say by the time I finished the last few I knew I needed to do, it was difficult to stop! My journal was overflowing with words of thanks, inspired by The Father, to share with you.  I feel His joy, even now typing, when we turn our attention to gratitude, to Him and for each other.
