A specific faith life verse for Dan and me since college days, is this. In 1998 when we met through a campus ministry and started dating, I created a sign for my new love's dorm room door, with Romans 8:38 printed on it in greens and browns. We still have the tattered and dusty sign somewhere in a memory box, and I remember it through all the ups and downs of school and dating at U.W. , and how both Dan and I were baptized during our time there. When a friend asked me to create this specific piece for her son who recently got baptized by a creek in the woods, this verse telling His redemption story.... I felt that it was some kind of full circle moment. I can't believe I have 't created a piece with that verse until now, but it was one of the most beautiful reasons to create for this young man, that I can think of!
