This is not the kind of love you can conjure up or slap on a pillow. This deep in your bones love that allows us to love our enemies, forgive what feels unforgivable, draw lines in the sand we will not cross in violation of that love, and fuels the fire of faithful endurance..... that kind of love is what John is talking about here. Silver lined words echo the need for pure redemptive power to be able to extend that love, to be empowered to release it. Strawberries are personal to me. Always representing God's sweet presence showing up in the hardest times in my life with Him, stronger than anything trying to tear me away from it. Oh how easy it is to love the more we sink into the depth of how much He loves us.
